i decided a long time ago that i wanted to open an etsy store, but i knew that i needed to get some inventory going to do that. And to really get a steady flow of bags going, i would need to establish the exact pattern and order of operations so that every bag came out exactly the same. Sooooo, i used the extra fabric leftover from the project i just did to get my brain to go through the motions of producing multiples of something in a short amount of time. Now, these bags are kind of all different sizes and shapes because i was using scraps and i was somewhat limited, but i think it was good for me to go through the motions. And now i have some bags that i can give away just to get the design out there. Also, now i know that making five printed bags in two evenings (one for the printing and one for the sewing) is totally do-able (and also that twice that many would be no problem if i didn't have to change the stinkin' thread color and ink color for every bag. Washing out my stupid screen and filling new bobbins and re-threading the machine took just as long as the printing and sewing itself )
So are you gonna actually open an etsy store and sell your Bagga Majiggies or was that just rhetoric?
